What I did this summer:)

Inspired by Hawaiian quilts, I designed this whole cloth quilt.
Appliquick machine applique with thread sketching,
then tapuntoed and lots of FMQ.

Blue ribbon at the Cocheco Quilt Show this past weekend.

The shells were marked before FMQ.

Close-up of my adaptation of a Sue Heinz FMQ design around edge.

LLQG challenge inspired by an extra article from MQU magazine.

Cocheco Quilters challenge : Original design
inspired by the poem Stopping By Woods... by Robert Frost.
Thread painted deer, couched threads and lots of FMQ.
